Currently, it appears that Pi is cutting off prematurely when speaking to Pi. Pi cuts off and starts the reply mid sentence. Pause time is too short. This can be corrected by using the “Tap to keep talking” button while talking to Pi, this works very well. However, it requires a push of a button on the screen and then another button click when done, which isn’t practical in some situations, like driving for example.

A request has been made to have a mechanism to increase/decrease pause time to cater for quick/slow talkers, perhaps a sliding cursor setting. This would give manual control over how quickly Pi cuts off to start the reply when the user finishes talking.

Alternatively, just revert to how it was before, since there was no problem with Pi cutting off people before in most cases.
