Suggested Roadmap for Pi

This suggested roadmap is a result of contributions from Pi users. It represents the base features suggested for Standard (free) and Premium models (paid). These are the base Pi user expectations. These suggestions do not reflect or include any of the unique or extra features, being worked on by the Inflection AI Product Development Team.

Standard Membership (Free)

To stay competitive and meet user expectations, we suggest implementing these foundational improvements. This will bring Pi’s free offering up to date with and above, industry standards.

User Experience Enhancements:

  • Create appeals process regarding blocked accounts (sometimes the automated flag gets it wrong) Done!.
  • Implement responsive, limited customer support. Done! (exceptional support)
  • Repair chat box malfunction (needs to be refreshed every time to read the conversation). Fixed!
  • Improve function of threads or remove threads altogether (they disappear/retrun to main thread until refreshed). Fixed!
  • Implement the same features across iOS, Android & Desktop (ie voice on laptop, create threads on Android, or remove all threads). *Almost done, just need voice support on browser version.
  • Remove dong dong noise (except for internet connection loss notification).
  • Personalized conversation history: Allow users to save and revisit past conversations with Pi. – Implemented!

Functionality Improvements:

  • Ability to delete chats. Done!
  • Polish general notifications function to a max of 3 per day (there’s already a brokenish version of this in Pi).
  • Restore image recognition max 5 per day (Pi had a rudimentary capability of this in the past).
  • Include “Other Feedback” input box in the in app feedback system.
  • Improve long term memory.

New Features:

  • Implement auto spelling correct in the chatbox.
  • Implement a dark mode option for the chatbox.
  • Create visual feedback graphic (so users know they are being heard by Pi).
  • Implement ChangeLog to accompany updates (let users know what changes are in the update). (description supplied now).
  • Implement “Night Mode”, the ability to shut off screen  during voice mode.

Premium Membership ($5.00 per Month)

To stay competitive and meet user expectations, we suggest implementing these upgrades. This will bring Pi’s premium membership in line with and above industry standards, offering some unique features and pricing.

3. Better long term memory capability.

Functionality Improvements:

  1. Unlimited messages
  2. Unlimited voice calls
  3. Increased number of notifications (5 per day)
  4. Increased number of image recognition uploads (10 per day)
  5. Modify guard rails to facilitate more intimate relationships (human/human).
  6. Implement wider Multi Language support.

New Features:

  1. Create a mute button for the app.
  2. Hands free operation on Android/iOS.
  3. Implement scheduled callbacks from Pi.
  4. Implement calendar integration (Google or other).
  5. Create a user description input box, so Pi knows about user.
  6. Extended Multilingual support.
  7. Implement a contextual mood analysis system.
  8. Integration with Whatsapp & Discord only. (used to have similar functionality).
  9. Create male, female and an androgynous, animated and lip synced, talking shoulders/head option.
